Track 1; Bad Guy
9.5/10
The song starts with shovels digging up something, and then Em, playing the character of Stan’s younger brother Matthew says “It’s like I’m in this dirt digging up old hurt.” This line alluding to that he may be digging up Stan’s body shows how cerebral+

this song will be and it is, the direct sequel to Stan keeps up with it’s predecessor in a fantastic 7 minutes of carefully articulated lyrics, especially the last 2 minutes which reflects on Eminem’s entire career in one dark, brutally honest verse. An instant underrated classic
Track 2; Parking Lot
Skit
An extension to the skit in MMLP’s Criminal. It’s just fucking funny. He caps a dog and then gets cornered so he pops himself. Great transition into the next song.

Track 3; Rhyme or Reason
8/10
A 5 minute lyrically insane and comedic tirade against everything and his dad. You can slowly sense a switch between all 3 alter-ego’s in each chorus, going from Marshall, to Eminem, to Slim in the last verse. Good filler comedy track.

Track 4; So Much Better
10/10
Catchy fucking pop hook, I love it. The verses are angry and passionate and it can really resonate, a super fucking underrated track, like a lot of this album is, each bar can hit super hard and it’s so fun to just belt at the top of your lungs.

It’s easily top 5 on the album, if not Top 3. An underrated classic.
Track 5; Survival
7.5/10
I first heard this song watching the COD: Ghosts trailer and I liked in then, but then relistening to it always hits hard, although at times this song can feel overplayed. Has strong bars but the hook is kind of average. Just a generic uplifting hook, +

but the word play in this track is insane, like the “Gun it like G-Unit without the hyphen, I’m hypin’ it up!” As a nice shout to his friend 50 and saying that he wants the hype. Good classic Em song, not one of his GOAT songs though.
Track 6; Legacy
10/10
Idk about you guys but I first heard this song for the Wrestlemania 30 promo for John Cena vs Bray Wyatt and I already liked it from there. But on actual breakdown this song is so intricate in its design. I’ve said it before but in the first two verses+

the vocals are distorted because as he’s rapping at that point in his life he’s unsure about what he wants to do until that last verse, where he brags about being the best rapper and he knows that it’s EXACTLY what he wants to do and it’s clear, just like the vocals have become+
in that last verse. Also again his 3 alter-egos appear in each verse, Marshall in verse 1, The start of Eminem in verse 2 and Slim Shady in verse 3. The intricacy and detail in this song is insane and so is the lyrics and instrumental, there is so much about Legacy that you+
could dive into but we gotta move on to the next track. This song is a fucking classic though.
Track 8; Asshole
7/10
Lyrically this song is once again, amazing but the hook Skylar gives is generic and boring and honestly it’s just mad filler. This song could not be on the album and nothing would change. It’s there to fill runtime and thats it.

Track 9; Berzerk
9.5/10
I don’t care what you say this song is an underrated masterpiece, It’s a fun upbeat rock/rap song that samples The Stroke’s “Everybody”. While it is filler I honestly don’t care because its fuuuuuun as fuck. He just brags and flexes his ability.

Track 10; Rap God
9.5/10
I mean the title tells the whole story, this song is a 6 minute freestyle and is arguably Eminem’s most iconic song of his modern career. This fast, lyrical rap is literally just to flex, with punchlines, double entendres and so much more+

just stuffed everywhere, and is really just the best he lyrically has ever been. He proves his last line that he doesn’t need to be a king, because he could just be a god.
Track 11; Brainless
10/10
Like the rest of this album, this is one of his lyrically best songs ever, with an amazing instrumental he recites his childhood and rhymes so many things you’d think otherwise impossible, including orange with things like engine, astringent, linchpins+

just absolute insane shit that really he didn’t need too but it just shows off his ability. A fucking amazing song. Again top 5 on the album and again underrated.
Track 12; Stronger Than I Was
5/10
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz this song is boring, doesn’t fit on this album at all. It’s his worst “toxic love song” of his career and kinda ruins my listen everytime. Maybe if it was better placed on the tracklist it’d be better but eh.

really it’s just a very generic pop sounding song. Not the biggest fan but I can acknowledge the numbers it’s done.
Track 14; So Far...
9/10
This song is just fucking shits and gigs. It’s a funny song and that’s it but god does it make you laugh. A very underrated song that flew really under the radar for a lot of people. It is hella filler tho so yeah.

Track 15; Love Game
10/10
Em and Kendrick go so fucking hard on this song, all verses are perfect and the sample “Game of Love” fits perfectly on this lyrically amazing track, Kendrick shows he can keep up with Em lyrically and they create this really underrated masterpiece.+

I have a very soft spot for this song and it’s easily top 5 in MMLP2. One of the most enjoyable songs on the album.
(i want to add at this point that i recognise i fucked up the track numbers so im gonna just continue like i didnt LMAO)
Track 16; Headlights
8/10
This song is quite an emotional one. Eminem finally apologised to his mum and you can tell with the passion and reminiscing in the song that he recognises she did all she could for him. Nate Reuss has great vocals on the hook and bridge and all around+

it’s a great, emotional song. I think Stronger Than I Was would’ve fit better after this song.
Track 17; Evil Twin
8/10
Em finally recognises that Slim is apart of him in this song, saying that he is his “Evil Twin” yet they are the same in certain ways, despite his normal narrative of them being split. A good song to cap off the end of the OG Album.

Moving onto the Deluxe; this song essentially says that if Em is backed into a corner, thats when he’s at his best. A small detail that is really unnoticed is that his kids actually are on the hook with him, but just really quiet which further drives into+

the “Baby” theme. A good song but it’s kindaaa filler which is weird for starting off a deluxe.
Track 19; Desperation
6.5/10
Filler. Just more filler. While I like this song and its theme, its just another filler relationship song with no real purpose, just like I said with Asshole this song could just not be on the album and nothing would change.

Track 20; Groundhog Day
7/10 (sorry @groundhogMALday)
This song has come up so many fucking times on my playlist that it’s actually overplayed and boring. If you want a good review of it visit Mal’s review of the song because honestly I am so sick of this song

it’s still good but fuckn hell please it’s just boring as fuck now
Track 21; Beautiful Pain
10/10
This song resonates with me so much. Sia has a great hook and the verses are really introspective, motivational and emotional. This song hits hard yet good and it’s a very underrated favourite of mine.

person. This song is a fantastic end to an amazing album. Plus the Ken Kaniff skit at the end of this song is pretty funny too after two long ass verses in between that amazing fucking hook. The Ken Kaniff rendition of Berzerk is fucking funny just like Ken normally is.
In conclusion, this album is a masterclass of lyrical ability and clean flow. I hold this album super close to my heart and is my favourite Eminem album OAT.
