Taking a deeper dive into Black land ownership and loss for a project, and every discover hurts more than the last.

I grew up on my family’s land in SC. Eady Hill...named after my family.

I didn’t understand “it” then. But I understand so much of it now.
...and I’ve completed a project with this in mind already. But the pain is still there.

I’ve got more work to do for sure.
Major thanks to my parents for never selling our land. In fact, they purchased even more land for my siblings and I.

I didn’t get the land talk when I was younger. I didn’t see what the big deal was.

It’s heartbreaking, but I’m learning. I’m getting it now. 👨🏽‍💻👨🏽‍🌾✍🏽
