Tomorrow kicks off Parliament’s first sitting week of the year, and we have big plans for 2021.

Up first is my bill to ban whips, tongue ties, and spurs in horse racing in NSW, criminalise sending ex-racehorses to knackeries, AND put in place a birth-to-death racehorse...
registration and rehoming scheme. Tomorrow, I will introduce my bill with a half-hour speech explaining just how important this bill is to improve the lives of tens of thousands of horses in NSW.
One day, the cruelty inherent to horse racing will be the death of the entire industry, and until that day we need to fight hard to protect the horses trapped in this vile world where money means more than someone's life.
