The impossible has happened. I feel so sorry for baby Touya. HOWEVER, his descent is one which has been clear since he was a child. So whilst Endeavor may have lit that fuse, the makings of a murderer were always there. I don’t think “Dabi” was ever preventable tbh

Dabi appears to have always had sadistic and narcissistic tendencies. He outright went to attack his mother when she had his baby brother in her arms. The rage he had just grew, but the possibility for chaos was always there, it was just a case of who would start the process

It’s not a reach to say that Dabi is simply unwell with some sort of disorder, but that doesn’t make his actions justifiable. He has inherited the worst traits of his father and they have just amplified with time. Endeavor and Rei do share some fault, but not all of it
