Here's a primer from memory on how Gina Carano acted from someone who watched it unfold.

Someone asked her to use pronouns. She pretended ignorance. It was explained, and she showed her transphobia. Then as she acted like a complete jerk...she only engaged IN BAD FAITH with

trolls and occasionally punching down hard on people who were trying to explain it to her. Then she mocked them repeatedly. Then she set the mob on them...repeatedly.

She blocked other well known check marked accounts who tried to explain it to her and called out her bigotry.

For several days there it was a joke which other checkmark who pointed out her bigotry would get blocked by her and have bigots parachute in their mentions next.

As the beep/bop/boop mockery went on.

THEN Pedro Pascal, the star of the show she works on...called it out.

THAT was when she removed the beep/bop/boop

Which was yes, mocking trans people. She's retconned it. It was very clear what it was.

THEN and ONLY THEN because you know...STAR OF THE SHOW SHE WORKS ON (and clearly some shit going on behind the Lucasfilm scenes)

When she went to palor over the beep/bop/boop shit, when she got called out FINALLY by Pedro, when her series was pulled back on?

THIS IS WHAT I THINK HAPPENED

I THINK she got into convos with hard core bigots like herself.

I THINK she decided to keep pushing it and keep pushing it.

I THINK she wanted to be publicly dumped

I THINK she had all that shit lined up so she could then play victim and leap to...Ben Shapiro's project.

Because I think once they pulled back on giving her her own series? She had already finished all of season 2.

They pulled back on the series, they weren't having her back on the show. This was obvious. Rather than just letting it fade out, as they would've done?

She keeps pushing it to it's inevitable confrontation point, then she can play darling victim of the liberal media for the conservatives.

The grift goes on.
