I’m realizing that everything about America was a violently enforced artifact of whiteness and patriarchy. There is nothing natural, innovative, or innate about this place. Everything was dreamed up in the mind of power which sought only to magnify + preserve itself.
...and this is what enrages me the most about people who reject the mere idea that there could be a world without police or capitalism. Whiteness has done a stellar job at convincing folks that their power is their birthright, and our disenfranchisement is our fate.
...folks take it, not only without question, but they believe it so wholeheartedly that they are willing missionaries for the cause of maintaining this power dynamic.

We imply personhood via the rights & benefits given to some and the rights & benefits withheld from others. Are you even a real person to this violent settler colony called America? Do you even exist to it?
