Zionism is the idea that there should be a state specifically for Jews. The initial proposer of "modern political" Zionism & founder of the World Zionist Organisation, Theodor Herzl, didn't even intend that the Jews' State should be in Palestine but in Uganda. https://twitter.com/sharkdiveruk/status/1360905044510531586
"aspiration of the Jewish people for self-determination in their ancestral homelands"? Leaving aside that Jews don't all aspire to colonise, conquer and ethnically cleanse Palestine, how does one people have self-determination in more than one homeland?
I mean she's right to pluralise homeland. Today's Jews have many ancestral homelands, but how do we have self-determination in Yemen, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Tigre, Palestine, Egypt and I'm sure many more where Jews have ancient ancestry including in Europe?
