Last week @CCFR_CCDAF donated $6k to @One_X_One_Inc both groups promoted this on their socials. Members of the CCFR have said they're fed up with gun violence and wanted to help. Anyone that knows me knows the work I do with them.
I was standing with other OBOM members after the tragic shooting of 12yr Dante Andreatta supporting the community of Jane & Finch. After that shooting and his death we brought together groups from each side to present solutions to @JohnTory
The profile pic on my page is a portrait included in a tribute mural at Christie Pits with other OBOM members.
This weekend @Polysesouvient decided to attack me & @TWilsonOttawa for the donation to help us support communities ravaged by gun violence. What they really did was attack the people in the communities we help.
@Polysesouvient has not come to a community impacted by gun violence. They have not spoke to people in marginalized communities or offered any real solutions to the on-going plague of gun violence. They're only contribution is to "assault rifles" should be banned
This is short sighted and frankly useless because they don't understand the real problem. They focus on the tool not the cause. They need to start focusing on the real tool of gun violence and crime. But they are 2 wrapped up in their own agenda to see that.
Anyone that knows me knows I am no longer working with @InfoCSAAA but while I support them they are fine on their own. Making mention of a doctors group I supported that no longer is around is weak and a diversion from their own lack of action.
The fact is @Polysesouvient does nothing. They stand on their pulpit and rant but never do the real work that impacted communities require. I fully understand what happened to some of their member is traumatic and sticks with you for life.
I work with people that have bullets in them from drive by's, one friend is in a wheel chair because he took 9 shots. I work with people who struggle everyday to stay out of a past life. I advocate for these people.

Furthermore, they should be ashamed for attacking victims of gun violence and they should stand up and match the donation from the CCFR because gun violence and supports for impacted communities is non-partisan or at least it should be.
