hot take: All Might is no better than Endeavor. they are two sides of the same coin and I wish y'all would stop acting like enji is this monster when he's the only one between them that's actually self-aware.
All Might took a child from his mother. he put a target on Deku's back, gave him OFA knowing full well that the users die young. Inko had no say in it. was it all might's decision to make? he isn't his father. he can't take it back. he can't even protect him anymore
All Might decided to "save" Izuku instead of letting it play out with Mirio, who was already part of hero life & recognizes the danger. how is that not just as selfish as Endeavor? even more so, because izuku isn't his kid. he had doubly no right to project this onto him.
Now All Might sits back and watches deku practically kill himself, withholding vital information from him. he didn't even tell deku half of what he was signing up for with OFA. Endeavor cared for & respected touya's well-being more than All Might ever did deku's
All Might and Endeavor both pushed their dreams onto a kid who didn't know any better, you're supposed to SEE that they did the same thing. All Might's path just happened to look prettier. at least Endeavor realizes he was selfish, at least he tried to protect his son.
anyway this is just about the touya-izuku parallels... All Might is selfish as hell and he's not just a bad mentor he's a bad man and he doesn't even fuckin know it
