Talk about home grown, Dennis was born in Kensington in 1966 but started out his football career as an apprentice at @SouthamptonFC. Dennis had a falling out with then manager Lawrie McMenemy and would be released. He moved back to London with Wimbledon (now @MKDonsFC)
Wisey was part of the infamous "crazy gang" alongside players such as fellow hardman @VinnieJones65 and contributed to their shock FA Cup win in 1988. His great form would earn him a move to Chelsea in what was then a club record deal. Here is how he became a Chelsea Legend...
Wise would be a regular goal scorer upon joining the club and would be rewarded with the honour of becoming club captain. This was a role he would thrive in! Wise though would be known not just for his very good football ability but a temper to match!
Wisey would make 445 appearances and score 76 goals, including a memorable one at the San Siro vs Inter Milan! Dennis would captain us to victory in two FA Cup finals, the League cup final, UEFA Cup Winners Cup final and also to victory over Real Madrid in the Super Cup!
Dennis would be sold to @LCFC but would be sacked for breaking a team mates jaw (typical Wisey). Spells at Millwall, Southampton, Coventry and Swindon would follow. Dennis would also manage all four of these teams before a less popular spell at Newcastle.
