It is important to understand that you can't think of #NFTs like your normal utility coin/tokens. Why? Digital art and collectibles provide sentimental value. They offer tangibility that utility tokens can't offer.

If you display a NFT in your home everyday, something you only own, it becomes a part of your life. You wake up, you go to bed, you see it and connect to it. /2
Markets for NFTs are not nearly as liquid as utility tokens and thus the rush to "dump" NFTs will be more difficult and less likely to occur, which bolsters value retention(e.g. #CryptoPunks). We know these models hold value because we've seen the physical art world do it. /3
Pair that with what a NFT can provide via an enhanced user experience(e.g. #Hashmasks names). Provable scarcity, authenticity, provenance and chain of custody is far superior to what exists in the traditional art world. /4
The beauty of NFTs is that HODLing is actually using it everyday as art delivers everything promised just by existing and being viewed or heard. /fin
