Did #GeoRebekah admit she never had access to #florida cv19 database? In her own words, @HealthyFla #epi team was determining what #Merlin data represented&sending it to Rebekah for dashboard visualization. HOW could she have been"asked to manipulate data"she didn't have access to?
In this @BrandmanU webinar on #GIS #WomenInGIS (10/13/20) #GeoRebekah claims that she DID have access to #florida #merlin database while at @HealthyFla. In fact, Merlin is only accessible to approved employees like #epi team; Rebekah would’ve had no reason to have access to it.
#Merlin produces reports that are subject to #florida #sunshinelaw public records requests. #dashboard is obviously public, so the numbers HAD to match. #GeoRebekah’s main “scandalous” claim — being asked to manipulate #data — makes NO SENSE if she didn’t have access to Merlin!
How could #GeoRebekah have been a “Cov Data Manager” if she didn’t even have access to MERLIN database at @HealthyFla? Did anyone ask her? @arstechnica @slashdot @nbc6 @SunSentinel @TB_Times @YahooNews @alexnazaryan @13NewsNow @Florida_Today #dataheroes #dataliars #florida
#GeoRebekah’s blog post from when she was #gis manager at @HealthyFla in Spring 2020. Media reported emails referencing both Dr. Blackmore & “Scott” (Pritchard, another #epidemiologist); as subject matter experts, THEY (epi) had access to database & knew Rebekah was out of line.
