Kenney doesn’t build bridges, he burns them. He has always done so and has never claimed otherwise. He picks fights with everyone and even when forced to back down, refuses to take responsibility or humbly admit he was wrong.

His term as Premier has been one example after another of failing to listen, then denying actions that were taken, followed by gaslighting everyone into believing circumstances are not what they actually were.

The coal policy that Kenney said his government had never removed was reinstated this week. The premier was notably absent from the news conference. But Grassy Mountain is still going ahead. And no one is celebrating.

The Mayor in the heart of the oilsands dared the government to remove him from office as he refused to send local calls through the central 911 dispatch due to recent delays with the system. The government had to get a temporary injunction to stop him. Nothing to see here...

A plan for rapid-testing for COVID-19 was announced this week. And Suncor's oilsands operation received 7,000 tests and schools - not included.

Dr. Hinshaw continued to struggle to meet the communication demands of her office, while rumours circulated about a looming surge of COVID variant cases. Would someone please give her more communication resources instead of spending money on a COVID head ad campaign!

The government has still not released its vaccination plan.

Confusion reigned over the joint program with the feds to deliver cash to essential workers struggling due to the pandemic.
