Just a quick note: Whether you feel @TDucklo should have been fired or not, it's strange to me how everyone is missing the other side of this analysis:

(And no, the "But she covered the WH beat so there's a conflict of interest. Hm, that was a WHILE ago. They disclosed the relationship and she had already been reassigned to another beat. So that's NOT a reason.)
I mean, at best, this merits a quick fluff piece or, even better, a tweet like: "Oh look -- young people find love in on the Hill! Cute!"

If I had to guess, it seems the this was an angle to attack the Biden Administration (via its comms/press team). They can't find scandals so they go for minor ones.
Notice this is hot on the heels of the "Press Sec finds out Q's in advance!" (no, that's not true, actually) and then it was going to be: "WH reporter in bed with Deputy Press Sec!" (not true, either - she doesn't cover the WH anymore)
