I understand appeals to History right now but History will be desperately trying to get students to care about the impeachment. History will look at our tweets in the archive and go, my god, I can't read another one of these. History just wants a job.

History is incredibly likely to think we all were horrible and that it's lucky not to have to live when we did. And who's going to disagree?

History sees anguish as data.

Their technology was ridiculous
They were willfully ignorant about race, gender, and power
They were willfully ignorant about ecology
They ate meat
Their arrogance was unbounded
Even the ones you love were actually horrible
Rich industrialists were ultimately behind everything

Alternately they worshipped a devil made of glass and everyone wore pants despite the Teachings.
