Bayerns long road to the Sextuple 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
[a thread] Likes and RTs would be appreciated
It all started when we thought that we wont even be champions at this point. It was the 2nd November of 2019 and we lost to Frankfurt 5-1. But losing is human and you learn from it. So we fired Kovac and hired Hans Dieter (Hansi) Flick.
After that major loss we had to play against BVB once again at the Allianz Arena. Don Hansi showed us that everything is going to be fine and we won 4-0
After that we won our first Champions league game with him. we won 2-0 against Olympiakos and the rest of the stage games. we became the first team to win all 6 groupstage games. Also remember that magical night against red star? Lewy scored 4 goals in 14 Minutes that night!
In December of 2019, we lost 2 games in a row to Leverkusen and Gladbach. Both 2-1, Bailey scored 2 goals against us and Gladbach was lucky because of a last min penalty. After that we were 7th and RBL was Fall champions. But we wanted more. A new era started
We went undefeated for the rest of the 2nd half of the Bundesliga, with the only draw againt Leipzig. We defeated Dortmund again 1-0 and took revenge for both Gladbach and Leverkusen winning 2-1 (without Lewy and Müller) against Gladbach and 4-2 against Leverkusen
Then we became champions in the game against Werder for the 8th time in a row thanks to a goal from LewanGOALski, the game was hard because Werder was in a relegation battle, and Davies got a red card but we did it at the end
At the end we were champions with 82 points, 100 goals and 13 points after Dortmund, sadly we couldn't celebrate because of Covid.
In the Champions league we meet Chelsea. that was the game where we beat them 3-0 with 2 goals from Gnabry and Lewy. After that game KHR gave Hansi a a birthday present, it was a pen. He said "we are signing papers with pens" that means Hansi should stay.
After that football was paused just like every other sports because of the lockdown, so no champions league game could be played but during that, we gave new contracts to Hansi (2023) Müller (2023) Phonzy (2025) and Neuer (2023) and also signed Miro Klose as assistend coach
Then the DFB Pokal resumed, in the semis we won against Frankfurt and in the final on July 4th against Neverkusen, eh I mean Leverkusen with some great goals including a Neuer assist 🤯 the game ended after a Havertz pen making it 4-2 we became Pokal winners for the 20th time
At the end of July we had a test game against Marseille where Gnabry scored the 1-0. In August we smashed Chelsea 4-1 at the Allianz and treveled to Lisbon. that was the beginning of something huge.
We had to play against Barca in the quarters. Something happened that no one predicted we beat them 8-2. with a early 1-0 from Müller in the 4th and 2 goals from former Barca star Coutinho making it 8 goals, a nice Davies show and many other great moments.
In the semis we beat Lyon. And then the next French team waited for us. PSG. they beat BVB, Atalanta and RBL but we played better and won thanks to a sensational Neuer and a header from King GOALman. On the night of August 23rd we became champions for the 6th time
But it was just the beginning. With the triple we got more opportunities. We qualified for more cups. In the Bundesliga we only lost to Hoffenheim and Gladbach after that.
On the BuLi opening game on September 18th we won 8-0 against Schalke. Leroy made his debut and scored his first league goal, also made 2 assists. Gnabry scored a hattrick and Lewy had a beautiful rabona assist. Sadly we also lost Thiago on this day. Kimmich got his no6 shirt.
With the european Supercup coming up on September 24th against Sevilla, and the DFB Supercup against BVB, it was a tight plan. but we beat both of them thanks to Javi in the UEFA supercup and Kimmich in the DFB one. We became Quintuple winners on September 30th
You know what happened in the rest of the season. We became "christmas champions" and fall champions in January. And then February came, and the final mission began
Al Ahly won their match and qualified for the semis against us. We won the semis thanks to Lewy and went to the finals against Tigres. Pavard scored and even tho it was almost not given, we won it thanks to him. We became Sextuple winners, the 2nd team who did it in history.
In that year Lewy also had the time of his life. He won everything, he even won trophies that I didn't know existed lol, he has so many of them, he can't even count it, the only trophies that he neds are Ballon d'or (they robbed it from him) and the golden shoe
This is a sensational Bayern team. You can't compare it to 2013 but Hansi gave us so much we can't thank him enough. Thats the end of the thread. thanks for reading. I'm once again asking for likes and rt's it was a really hard work to publish it.
