It was a step long time in the coming though, Pakistan finally saw that staying mum on such attempts generally had ended up in upping the ante from the other side. Our neighbors and friends were both caught by surprise.
Do remember that on 26th Iran talked about undertaking similar strikes in Pakistani mainland. Not one country, other than Turkey and China said anything remotely in Pak’s favor. The Indian strike was entirely backed up. Until Pak responded.
Do anticipate another war in the near future under similar circumstances, I hope Pak manages to avoid it. The region deserves better. People deserve more. Just need to be able to keep our heads down and get through this.
