"Do not paint everyone for the sins of a few". But is it really a few?

Is there a reason people are apprehensive about a group of people?

What is "a few"? "A few" is a truck pusher in Oyo state with a dagger in his pocket, ready to waste the life of an indigene over an argument.
"A few" are the uniformed men who use their offices to perpetrate tribal and religious genocidal acts. Look at the execution of Shi'ites, look at the execution of soldiers from the SE recently.
"A few" is children of government official with GOOD EDUCATION being ethnic bigots in the open and threatening to rape people's parents with absolutely no repercussion.
"A few" is when people are protesting against injustice, you use your international office to kill the effects of the protest knowing very well that you have an agenda and you are not there for the rights of anyone.
"A few" is the head of a govt organisation on equal representation of Nigerians being from part of the leadership of a group of people at the helm of most of the chaos we are seeing today.
"A few" is being raised with extremist tendencies and you know it. It is so casual to you that you spew it on social media and when people check you because what you are saying is not normal, you become apprehensive.
"A few" is sending death threats to a woman because of what she is wearing.

"A few" is the IG of Police using the power of his office to invite a woman to explain what she is wearing and how it offends his faith.
A FEW? "A few" is believing a person should be sentenced to death for his lack of belief, for changing his mind on his beliefs, for challenging your beliefs or for perceived insults.

As I continue to reel these out, you can see these things + the results are NOT FROM A FEW!
I can go on and on. Violence and extremism are a casual norm. You will have to ACCEPT an HONEST CONVERSATION about these truths and how existing in Nigeria with millions who subscribe to these "norms" has been extremely deadly and difficult for Nigerians.
Coexisting with the societal norms of Northern Nigeria is a brutal difficulty. It is the truth. Someone has to say it.

Even people within the society are exhausted talk more of those alien to it.

It is too much and it must be addressed.
Refusal to address it will continue to lead to bloody conflicts and eventually war. It is what it is.
