Sunday version of my tweet from yesterday..... worth sending out the graphs again.

@jasonleitch @NicolaSturgeon @devisridhar

Imagine my surprise 😝 this week when I heard that (honorary Professor) Jason claimed...
... on camera that covid progress was 'stalling'. He was not challenged. He wouldn't lie? Maybe he doesn't know his own statistics? What could he possibly mean? What measure does he think is stalling/unacceptable? What on earth was he talking about? Percentage positive? Maybe....
... hospital occupancy? No! Steeply declining. What a puzzle. ITU occupancy fall has stalled but that actually is something of a mystery, covered in my daily blog he should go and have a look at here: http://informscotland.uk .... Deaths are also falling but slowly..... .
..... also covered in my daily graphs blog. It's a grim mystery someone has to explain....

Is there a region in which ITU occupancy is a particular rising concern?? No! Not even close.

Well, could there be a worry in hospital occupancy regionally? ...
Erm..... no! Not at all. Something of a rise in Forth Valley settling down now....
Are vaccinations stalling (which would be Scot Gov's fault) ???

Well, no! They're being rolled out very fast. Well done Scot Gov!
What about prevalence? Well, there's amazing news there too because it's falling really really fast.

....
.... So my question to (honorary Professor) Jason is:

Do you have trouble interpreting your own published data? Are you looking at statistics from somewhere else? Are you incapable of conveying good news?

Are you being prevented from giving the Scottish people a break?
Do you understand human psychology? Do you deliberately misinform the nation of Scotland or is it an accident?

Do you understand how angry people will become if you continue like this?

Would you like some assistance from me with your statistics and interpreting them?

😊
