All those propagandists from orgs like @khalsaaid_india as well as attention seeking liars from @AamAadmiParty currently trying best to enjoy disaster tourism opportunity offered by Tapovan tragedy wud do well to check how choppers are being used for delivering relief material

Jawans from @ITBP_official from closely stationed battalions were one of the first to reach disaster site (within an hour, if not minutes) & have since been doing their best to rescue men,retrieved bodies, help provide rations etc - ofcourse @uksdrf & @uttarakhandcops is helping
Medical teams were sent to affected villages and they have been treating our village folks. All videos of tent u saw in videos circulated by @khalsaaid_india volunteers were for their own use - how low can these folks go- btw, do ask them where r they today & u will get answer
Villagers are being visited by team of docs and all necessary medicines are being given to deal with any emergency situation -
Rescue ops, next to river, are conducted at several levels- one inside tunnel are being complimented by those outside to redirect the flow of river from left to right- usually river flows towards right after floods!
Commandant of @uksdrf was the first to reach the site where debris fell down and blocked the river - here is the video of that - another example of how Govt planned rescue ops such that all aspects are dealt with
Engineers from @adgpi are working on re-connecting villages- immediate assistance was provided by means of constructing rope bridges to ferry ration- medicines and even men...
Local women and folks- another example of how they DO NOT need all that “aid from those on disaster tourism” - joined hands and helped local admin provide food to rescue and relief personnel!

State CM @tsrawatbjp instructed Garhwal Commissioner and DIG Garhwal to camp at the site and coordinate all R&R ops. DM Chamoli, Swati Bhadoria, has been personally supervising all the ops. Here I must mention how she cudnt meet her 4 yrs old for 3 days after incident....
Those who know me well, would know how I will never commend any IAS officer, unless they do something extraordinary- something that is expected from them, given the powers they enjoy & resources at their disposal- and Swati did a commendable job here

One unfortunate development last night during 24 hours rescue ops, was the recovery of two bodies from tunnel. Our folks form @NDRFHQ and Army/ ITBP/ SDRF have been working 24X7 inside tunnel!
I was resisting sharing these details but note how rescue teams are combing river beds for recovery of bodies - even an account of body parts is being maintained- on CMs instructions, DNA samples are being taken of all recovered bodies and not identified until now
Govt has already started handing over compensation cheques to next of those who lost their lives in this tragedy - CM @tsrawatbjp requested for permission for adopting SOP similar to one during SriKedarnath tragedy-when Govt distributed cheques, on the basis of police FIR report!
Nature of this tragedy is such that relatives of missing workers are bound to get anxious & there is no dearth of vultures to feed on their anxiety!
But fact remains that @tsrawatbjp Govt, with the help of @narendramodi Govt, has ticked all boxes & delivered on all fronts!
