How backing OGS is the ultimate representation of loving United and hating the glazers. PS, this idea was inspired by @Brit1502 and you all should definitely give him a follow. Proper fan, funny as fuck, and overall a great person to follow.
Every United fan who I have talked to hates the glazers. They’re shit owners and we all dislike them. So what’s the perfect “fuck you” from fans? The answer is simple: back our manager. If you actually believe in LUHG (the movement, not the twats on twitter), you should back the
Manager. He represents the “Love United” aspect perfectly. He’s the spiritual successor of SAF in terms of his managerial style; he genuinely has the club’s best interest at heart; he’s moving the club in the right direction; he’s a legend for us; and his decisions look more
Vindicated every week (early squad rotation this season, subs have been paying off, he’s been winning us games via his tactical setups, etc). Now for the “Hate Glazers” aspect. Let’s be honest, we all hate them. But none of us are going to stop buying kits, going to games, or
Watching on TV. So, those cunts will always make money off of us. It sucks, but it’s reality. That said, as majority shareholders, they (along with Woodward) have to make many decisions and deal with the backlash of those choices. That backlash won’t be relevant to them if it
Just comes from fans. Instead, we would have to show sponsors that we have discontent with the brand (thus decreasing the value of sponsorships) whenever they fuck up. So, let’s all back Ole. If the manager is so beloved by the fans that he can do no wrong (think SAF)
Then, the glazers and Woodward have to act on the manager’s behalf. They have to serve his wishes, rather than their own. We have a manager who was beloved as a player, if we transfer that backing to him as a manager, the glazers have to give in to him. Ole represents a unique
opportunity. Ole represents the chance to make fans’ voices heard. All we have to do is back him to the point that the glazers wouldn’t dare sack him. Back him to the point that their commercial success depends upon Ole’s on-field success— that’s how you LUHG.
