If you're looking to order in and eat great vegan food, there's a lot of options in many places and great websites like @HappyCow to guide you.

If you don't see options, don't feel discouraged. Talk to local restaurants and ask them about vegan food.

If you're eating in and cooking your own food it can always be handy to know what is and isn't vegan in terms of your ingredients.

Here's one great guide to go by. Just search for an ingredient to see whether or not it comes up flagged as not vegan.

In closing, the hows of going vegan are pretty straight forward. The goal is to reduce cruelty as much as is reasonably possible by abstaining from supporting it.

The whys are another topic I recommend exploring if one is new to veganism.
