Want to know how Britain kicked Canada’s ass in vaccination?

A critical take-away of that report is that last year, the UK had “limited or no vaccine manufacturing capability”, but they rammed that through as an emergency.

The co-Chair of Canada’s vaccine task force frankly lied to CBC when she said the UK had this capacity.

Another-take away is that one of the new British manufacturers, Cobra, started with only a few hundred liters of cell culture capacity.

That is actually LESS than Canada’s National Research Council had in 2020, but the Canadian capacity was never used.

Simply put, our government never tried, because its Vaccine Task Force incompetently rejected manufacturing. This was not discovered because Trudeau kept its meeting minutes secret (and they still are), though people such as me inferred it in other ways.

The big picture is that Britain has a much stronger science establishment than Canada, and Boris Johnson heads a far more transparent government than Trudeau. Those two Canadian inferiorities collided in such a way that thousands will die. You better believe that I am furious.
