McConnell still denouncing Trump and laying out his guilt, for provoking the Jan. 6 attack and not calling it off
McConnell making clear at some length he thinks Trump guilty but making some technical argument for not voting to convict.
said if Trump was still in office, he would have considered.
McConnell: respect colleagues who reached both conclusions.
He still sounds very troubled.
