While the GOP has spent the last 4 years screaming about fake news, all Americans need to take a look at what sources we are relying on for info.

Only 38 years ago, 50 companies controlled 90% of the news outlets we consumed.

Today, only 6 companies control that same 90%. From newspapers to television, what we are being fed should be filtered by the knowledge of which company owns your local newspapers and TV affiliates.

It's much easier to find an outlet that is not on the list of these 6 companies
Notably, NPR, Reuters, AP, & a couple others are not on the list.

Below, is a media bias chart. This will let you know if what you are watching is in fact actual facts vs. fluff with a spin.

Real journalists, are not talking heads. Keep that in mind.

Can this be part of the problem when we consider the polarization of our population today?

There is no competition for accuracy anymore.

We watch what fits our narrative, and the companies that own 90% of what we watch, only want the advertising dollars based on ratings.
What better way to get ratings than to tell you what you want to hear?

We have to do better, and we must demand better of the productions we watch and the news we read.
