The only thing that matters is numbers. The only way we get the numbers we need is to vote. Every time. Anyone who's threatening to not vote in 2022 who follows me, unfollow me. You think Black people gave up on Civil rights the first and hundredth time we lost? 1/
You think women gave up on reproductive rights the first time we lost? You think LGBTQ people gave up on marriage equality the first time they lost? You lose. You grieve. You re-group but you VOTE. If you're threatening not to that's a luxury you have that others don't. 2/2
And let me add and I don't care if you're tired of hearing it. Black women have stayed fighting. Y'all like to pretend praise us and "yaaasss queen" us and claim to wanna be like us. We VOTE. ALWAYS. Grow up or shut up. Finis.
