I know Gary Warner and the gang there personally, and can attest that they’re an incredible American company that produces an awesome freighter. Top notch group over there.
Imagine the damage that could have been done to the empennage if that door separated? Ghastly. Not to mention the stress on the fuselage from twisting force of flight.

As a general rule, it’s bad to TOW aircraft with pressure vessel doors open due to twisting.
