Why I've Changed my Mind on #NFT

1) In crypto age, I'm already dead. And maybe b/c of that I just didn't get NFTs.

But unlike a lot of maximalists. I like to delve into things before dismissing.
2)I bought myself a hashmasks.

I appreciated the work the artists put in on hidden attributes & groups. The gambling thrill from unveiling ur hashmask. I liked how it generated yield w its name change token $nct u generate. I sold my nct/broke even. Free wheel'ng on the hashmask
3) I thought it was cool all the work the community has done like @NFTX_ tokenizing ur NFT into an index fund $mask on $eth so you can

1. Provide liquidity on @uniswap for trading fees/participate in farming & get yield
2. Having a way to "instant sell"
4) When u tokenize ur NFT uu put it in a pool & u get a token.

U can sell the token for the going rate, provide LP or later trade back for a random NFT. BC u get a random NFT u don't want to be tokenizing ur best NFTs, hence the indexed price is the floor price of commons
5) Mark Cuban's write up about growing up as a stamp collector and how NFTs take away all the pain point of an NFT started to change my mind even more.

6) NBA topshot's record breaking growth and card pack sell-outs in minutes changed my mind even more.
7) Just today, my nieces who are in grade 2 and 3 showed me their Roblox characters & how they've spent over $1000 on customizing their characters.

They then argued over which was the prettiest shoes and once agreed, spent $50 to have a pair of wearable, tradeable digital shoes
8) When you have a generation grow up in a digital world, they find digital goods as valuable if not more.

It carries all the "flex" that a pair of limited edition jordan's might garner without any of the worry of wear and tear, and none of the hoops of transacting a trade.
9) I've looked at how I could benefit from NFTs.

I could buy and sell hot NFTs but that would take commitment & research.

I'm not in NFT for the hobby, but for the gainz.
10) Thought maybe I could get the $rari token, the platform for buying and selling NFTs. But it's been pumping.

Decided maybe I go for $flow.
11) The company behind cryptokitties launched their own blockchain and houses NBA topshot and others such as UFC.

It's currently only on Huobi, which feels like a hidden gem as volume hasn't picked up yet.
12) I'm actually an NBA fan, so I might nevertheless look into nabbing myself a few topshots.

Maybe this is my mid life crisis. Instead of buying a motorcycle I buy a legendary @nba_topshot
