So Donald Trump is a coward and lazy man who doesn't really stick his own neck out, or exert himself over much.

So in the weeks before the Insurrection, imagine Michael Flynn and others, floating a coup attempt to Trump...never calling it that ofc.

Trump loving the rhetoric. He always openly admired dictators who could have their detractors and hostile media beaten openly in the streets.

And his yeah, yeah! and violent words and desires are seen as a go from those entrenching themselves around him who ...do very much want this.

Trump only wants to keep power, by any means. Other than walking blocks or sticking HIS neck out

Whether it was Sessions back a few years ago, or Bill Barr, or various Govs or the GOP or whomever

It's always SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT that they're not COMING THROUGH for Trump.

They have to do the thing. Not him. THEM.

He just sits back and benefits. Without having to walk, or you know, stick his neck out.

So the coup happens. They even have insiders with the DC police. (Yes)

They will hold off the National Guard...for now.

They're waiting for one thing. A very key thing.

Donald Trump MUST declare martial law and blame antifa.

And then as this shit is unfolding, and Trump is pacing in front of a television, GLEEFULLY watching the violence he called for happen. The very special people he loves as avatars of his malignant narcissism ripping apart the sanctum of our Republic because he can't lose

People start screaming at him.

A lot of various people. And Donald Trump doesn't do well with that. He's not a 'under pressure' guy.

He's the guy who runs and hides in the basement bunker and turns off the lights and quivers under his binky.

He's a coward.

AND TOO MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE ARE YELLING AT HIM.

That's why the coup failed. It would've fucking failed anyway. They didn't get the hostages they were trying to take. Thank god. They didn't get to publicly excite people. Thank god.

Mike Pence is calling Trump. Some of his aides are begging him to do something. Kevin McCarthy...well you know that part.

Trump will insist 'it's antifa' and when confronted with the truth...refuses to do anything. This is what he wants.

BUT THOSE CONFRONTATIONS ARE WHY TRUMP DID NOTHING.

Because what Trump was supposed to do, was his part to seize power. Not just sit on his ass and wait for them to bring it to him like a Diet Coke.

there's a lot of fortunatelys. Eugene Goodman was the good man in the right place and the right time, by sheer fucking luck and SMART THINKING again and again. And willing to risk himself. Hero?

FORTUNATELY ...Trump is a pathetic coward who got bogged down once too many people were being yelly and he decided to wait and see where it ended up.

It's so much worse than most people even recognize now.

And it ALL has to come out, whether Trump is ultimately impeached or not.

Because various factions are STILL trying to weaponize this and the next one won't be a stupid coward.
