Pictures taken #OTD Feb 13 1917 of Mata Hari's arrest at Hotel Elysée Palace on Champs Elysées in Paris. She was a suspected German spy codenamed Agent H-21. A little after 5:30 AM on Oct 15 1917, she refused a blind fold and was shot by a firing squad of 12 French officers (3/4)
Some of the records concerning her trial and execution were sealed by the French government for 100 years, only being published in 2017.
