Portfolio Breakdown: By Theme

A post from @ztinvesting a while back, inspired me to write bout my own theme investing

For each of my investments I track

Sector
Industry
Style
Market Cap
Etc...

With tables and charts for each category

But I also have my own theme's 👇

1/
Having a theme for why I am invested in a particular company is another way to ensure I keep my portfolio balanced & diversified

It also helps me find areas I want to add to

Some are cut & dry like Advertising for $TTD

Others, like $SE are more complicated 😏

2/
My core "Theme's" are currently:

Cash - 1%

Dividend - 3%

Cloud - 6%

Advertising - 19%

(E)Commerce - 18%

Consumer - 9%

Entertainment - 16%

Industrials - 3%

Financials - 7%

Software - 9%

Health Care - 6%

SPAC - 3%

3/
An example for why I have my own Theme's

$ROKU & $SE both fall under

Communication Sector
Entertainment Industry
Large Cap

Yet I invest in them for

Advertising - $ROKU

Entertainment (& Commerce & Consumer 😅) - $SE

4/
Categories change as my portfolio and motivation for holding companies evolves

When I started tracking theme's; ETF's & Dividends were a much larger allocation

As the economy has changed

Advertising, (E)Commerce, & Entertainment take up the majority of my portfolio

5/
And thanks to the @10kdiver thread today with my cup of coffee ☕️

I'll be adding a new Category to start tracking:
The economy (i.e. USA, China, SEA, etc.)

I would love to hear what themes you use to track & diversify your portfolio ❤️

Let me know if the comments 😊
