who's the one secretly contacting the other's friends and family before they visit, and organizing a huge "welcome back" prank + party for the other?
who's sneaking the other into their high-school campus when it's past midnight, just so they can make out in hidden corners of the hallways like teenagers?
who's closer friends with all the senior citizens?
who's closer to all the kids?
fun fact: they go for walks every morning, and they always stop to have nice little chats with the adults, and play with the kids for a bit. it's holmes chapel and doncaster; everyone knows everyone, and everyone trusts harry and louis. they're sort of the favorites.
in both places, they've got a favorite diner. whenever they go for their morning walks, they always eat there. who's got one order that they get every single time, no matter what?
now, obviously, date nights still happen, no matter where they are. with that in mind:
who prefers the kind of date where you drive at midnight, to the quaint little edges of town, a bit away from people, spread out a blanket, get some food, and gaze at the stars?

who likes the kind of date where you go to a drive in theater, park the vehicle and spread out a blanket / set up chairs right there in front of it, get cheap snacks, and watch old-time, classic films?
who always volunteers to help out at the local book club when they're home?
who's the one who never fails to spend at least a few nights at the old age home, volunteering and helping out and interacting and hosting games of bingo and whatnot?
who loves, more than anything, walking or driving around, and visiting all the spots they used to spend time at and love when they were younger?
(except this time, they're sharing it with the other, they're both a part of the memories now.)

random little anecdote: they might be international stars, but, whenever they go home, they're just harry and louis, you know? two people who grew up there, who'll always be just harry and louis to the people there, no matter what they do or where they go.
another tiny thing: they're open about themselves with the people of both doncaster and holmes chapel. everyone knows they're together, and everyone absolutely adores them.
random anecdote III: whenever there's any sort of celebration, both of them are always on the organization committee. because they absolutely love making the people around them happy.
quick bonus: every time there is a celebration, there's always a special performance from both of them. nothing huge or extravagant or anything like their careers, just the two of them singing songs with each other, and with and for everyone else.
(sometimes, they even pen down special little songs just for the occasion.)
