Corporate and society has failed working mothers.

I completely disagree with this take and the opinion article by Kamala Harris.

1. This talk about biases and such. Corporate life, full time work, and dangerous jobs are not for the weak. https://twitter.com/eakboston/status/1360593982141698048
2. This kind of attitude demonizes women who leave their career to do the most difficult and important job which is raise children. Most are wired to do it better than men, so let's celebrate and encourage it.

Now the article....
3. Its really about small businesses going out of business because of covid, they decided to only focus on women business owners which is bullshit.

Now, as a working mother of a special needs child I suggest three ways to support women:
1. Praise women who leave their career to raise their children

2. Create back to work programs that can update skills lost for when/if they come back.

3. Treat stay at home periods as a job, not a resume gap. So many skills learned.

Ask yourself why women have to work....
Well, the lifestyle many desire got more expensive so both work to afford it.

What about men staying home?

Women are wired to be a patient, nurturing, multi tasker, and men are not.

But but but equality....
We are not equal, we are uniquely strong in different ways and if you can exploit those strengths you will be exceptional parents and couple.
