What can we expect from Cristiano Ronaldo going into this season's UCL Knockout Stages?

[A SHORT THREAD].
So far Ronaldo has played 6 knockout games for Juventus. Here's how he performed.

Involved in 100% (7/7) of Juventus' KO goals 🤯

In each of his UCL ties he was the driving force for Juve.
Back in 18/19, he scored a hattrick vs Atleti to overcome a 2 goal deficit in R16.

In QF, he scored in both legs but was left disappointed, being let down by the defence against Ajax.

The service to Ronaldo in 18/19 however, was excellent with 4/5 of his goals being headers.
In 19/20 vs Lyon R16, he had an average 1st leg performance but a masterclass 2nd leg performance.

⚽️ 2 goals
🥅 1 big chance created
🎯 84% pass accuracy

But it wasn't enough as Juve ended up losing 2-2 on the away goal rule.
What can we expect this season? So far, he's the 3rd top scorer in UCL with 4 goals.

He's on good form in the UCL and we can expect him to continue it based on his prev Juve KO campaigns.
In the recent few seasons he has had a habit of going quiet in the group stage and entering an unstoppable mode in KO stages, for example in 16/17, 18/19 and 19/20.

I don't see any reason why he won't perform in the KO's this season either + he's been good in big games 👇
vs Roma- 2 goals
vs Lazio- 1 goal
vs Barca (UCL)- 2 goals
vs Napoli (Supercup Final)- 1 goal
vs Inter (Copa Italia SF)- 2 goals
vs Roma- 1 goal

Big game player ⭐
Also, Juve have a promising squad with the pairing of De Ligt and Demiral in defence + Arthur, Mckennie and Chiesa have been phenomenal in the mid.

The most important link up however, is Ronaldo and Morata, who has already assisted to Ronaldo 5 times this season.
This team has a good bet of making it to the semifinals based on their recent form this season.

And hopefully, we see Ronaldo at his very best vs Porto in a few days time. Good luck CR7 🤝
