My safety and rights as a trans woman is NOT nor ever will be more important than the safety and rights of women. The amount of times I have been told that if we had our own spaces we would be open to attacks from men! Yet they don't care that this is the same for women!

The other night there was a discussion with a man obviously, about trans people taking over the spaces of women. I said about getting a gender neutral space for us where ALL can use if they want. But his excuse for not having this is that it would put trans women at more risk

of violence from men! Yet he was all for men self ID as women and do nothing to transition at all but still have access to women only spaces!! And he's all for "inclusivity"!
It beggars belief that people think this about trans women! That our safety trumps the safety of women!!

It doesn't. Our safety is important. And so is the safety of women. We are not better than women. We are not weaker than women(women aren't weak!). But are they going after the safety of men? Saying that the safety of trans are more important than the safety of men?

No. No they are not. Why? Because men would tell them where to go! Yet when women do that they get threatened by violence by these trans people and their allies! No. No. No. We are not better than anyone else. And we are responsible for our own actions. So I say to the ones

that threaten women with violence, there will be a day of reckoning and every violent messages you have sent women will be seen and shown what bullies you are. Xx

I think that women should begin to report the people who are sending them threats to the bullies' employers or family members etc. Just like the trans people are doing to the women who don't agree with them and reporting them for transphobia! Report the bullies to their bosses xx
