I've been thinking about it, & Wales could be on for a #6Nations Grand Slam. That might sound like a stupid statement, but I've put serious thought into this.

Gethin Jenkins could once again find himself with more Grand Slams than the entire Irish nation.

Here are my workings :
1. Inspite of being largely cac, Wales have already beaten Ireland, who are, thankfully, now DONE in this year's tournament.😎

If anything telling came out of this game, it is that Wales' defence is once again looking formidable - a crucial factor in all recent Welsh slams.
2. Scotland may have just become The First Ever Rugby Team in History to Beat England at Twickenham, but the extent to how terrible England were has been downplayed in all of this. Also, Scotland still only scored 11 points.

Lads, it's Scotland.
3. England. The saes were dregs against Scotland, but the signs of malaise were already evident in their Andrew Brace-inspired 'win' against France A, in last Autumn's Covid Cup.

England's decline will continue deep into the 6N and Wales will win a scrappy encounter in Cardiff.
4. If Wales become the first team to lose a 6N match to Italy in 5 years, then I'll have have fuck all to say about it, bar #PivacOut.
5. A straight slam shootout with France in Paris.

Bear with me.

France will have swept all before them, but will be due a dodgy performance. A Wales team, by now missing 82 players through injury, will be carried to victory single-handedly, by returning captain @EllisJenkins_.
