Reread of Ethics hits so hard man, I love Takayanagi sensei so fuckin' much. Too amazing and too real. I genuinely love how, in this manga, it's not the perspective of Takayanagi sensei we follow but, from the perspective of the various students and people who have different-
-personal issues and problems and how they view the world, and by extension, life itself. All of the students have such relatable outlook on life and it's just interesting to see how they will go about it after Takayanagi sensei's lessons. The relatable issues ranging from-
-how to love a good life to the idea of individuality, from different forms of emotional attachment to the concept of good and bad, from doing things for others, rather than yourself to the multitude of masks every individual wears in their life etc etc. All these-
-problems, albeit, might not be relatable for all, still holds lessons for everyone in some form. Speaking of which, Takayanagi sensei, himself, is such a great character and an amazing protagonist but, reducing him to that, is just a disservice to him as a whole. He is-
-much more than just a normal fictional character, he's, in a way, a role model. Now, we don't his past or anything and judging from him thinking of himself as bad or terrible, does intrigue me but, alas, he is still an absolutely precious individual to me. The stories-
-told and Takayanagi sensei explaining how the individual is right but, also pointing the flaws, is just so damn enjoyable. It is also worth noting how Takayanagi sensei tells most of lessons through already existing philosophical quotes that makes for an engaging and fun moment-
-as well as really well thought-out. All the lessons, some of which I am aware of myself, still left me in awe and I truly feel enlightened. It made me look at life in a different light.
Ez 10/10 as well as top 3 manga and top 10 protagonist, it will always have a soft and genuine spot in my heart. I am sure to look back on this manga from time to time in the future to remind myself of the lessons told by Takayanagi sensei.
