Many questions raised by last night's programme. If stones were removed from Waun Mawn stone circle - why are four stones still remaining on site? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000s5xm
Mike Parker Pearson did find post holes / sockets at Waun Mawn which confirms stone circle but stump in one socket would suggest damage to stone rather than careful removal for use at Salisbury Plain?
The source of the spotted dolerite on Carn Goedog and the rhyolite at Craig Rhosyfelin was not really developed during the programme and certainly no connections with these 'quarries' made with Waun Mawn - which would seem a logical area of research
While I enjoyed last night's programme - the process of archaeology is to ask questions and vigorously test that any theories stand up to challenge - things were very glossed over for a 'popular audience' who will now accept this as fact https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000s5xm
