I'm working my way through a 1990 Yearbook compilation so this will be a thread of some of the cool shit I find on there. Starting with this clip from El Hijo del Santo, Yoshinari Asai & Gran Hamada vs. Negro Casas, Blue Panther & Fuerza Guerrera (WWA 1990).
99% of indie workers in the 2000's were inspired by El Hijo del Santo, there's no ways about it.
Toshiaki Kawada & Ricky Fuyuki vs. Fantastics (AJPW 1/3/90).

Cracking little match here, and I think this is my first taste of the Fantastics. Hope to see more of them going forward.
Akira Hokuto & Yumiko Hotta vs. Toshiyo Yamada & Etsuko Mita (AJW 1/4/90).

The crowd is super hot, and the action is incredibly fast-paced. There's a real sense of struggle to everything. Really good stuff.
The struggle. The sense of urgency. The selling. The investment. Everything here is picture perfect.
Ric Flair vs. Bobby Eaton (Main Event 1/7/90)

Eaton taking full-on back body drops onto the concrete and Flair running wild, you love to see it!
Arn Anderson vs. The Great Muta (Power Hour 1/12/90)

In this two minute clip, keep an eye on Muta and count how many moves and mannerisms were emulated by all your favourite professional wrestlers. A certified GOAT.
I am utterly convinced that Billy Travis was the greatest professional wrestler of all time.
