Huh so in OD Tao does 70% base damage, and the clone does 35% base damage. Tao's attacks scale the combo but the clone's do not. While that should work out to 105% damage in reality it works out to less because that 35% is gated behind the scaling of the last move Tao did...
It seems the major advantage of this OD from a damage gaining perspective is that it opens up routings via gatlings/whiff cancels/jump cancels on everything and clone cover allowing for heavier hits being rapidly chained together as is obvious...
What else is interesting is that the close's hitstop is independant of Tao's own. This matters for 6C because she's able to go beyond the limit of the combo timer for one 6[C] into EA...
An interesting aspect of Tao is that most of her buttons have 5 hitstop. Typical jabs in this game have 9 hitstop at least. This allows less time for Tao and the opponent to confirm the situation. Some specials defy this rule, but even those have less than normal for their lvl.
