A thread on ⚽️European Football Clubs as IPL Franchises🏏

(Likes and RTS Appreciated)
Mumbai Indians x Real Madrid

Easy one. The most successful, the biggest, and the best clubs in their respective sports. Only the best play for these 2, and they have a talent eye like no other. They rile rival fans unbelievably. RMA had a 3 peat, a 3 peat is very possible for MI
Rajasthan Royals x Inter Milan

2 clubs living off past success. Haven’t done much from 10 years ago,but their success was unprecedented, masterminded by Shane Warne and Jose Mourinho respectively. They look pretty good right now too, chances of a comeback to the top loom large
Kings XI Punjab x AS Roma

Both from iconic parts of their country, but have never managed to build an iconic legacy unfortunately. They haven’t won many trophies and have lived under the shadows of other clubs. Hopefully they can get to the top soon.
Sunrisers Hyderabad x Atletico Madrid

Teams with not massive fanbases, but very proud fanbases. They play a turgid brand of sport, but very successful. They are good at defending their fortress and no one wants to play against them. Their attacks are quality as well.
Bury x Kochi Tuskers Kerala

Well, not much to say here. RIP
Kolkata Knight Riders x Chelsea

2 relatively successful clubs. Have won 2 leagues in the last decade. have 2 very famous and infamous owners for different reasons. They love their legends and like giving them jobs in coaching post retirement. 2 big clubs, but not super clubs.
Delhi Capitals x Borussia Dortmund

An easy one. All fans enjoy watching them. Both invest a lot in young talent which usually means they don’t have enough to win a title. They have a few star boys who give them a lot of potential to win, but there’s still much to prove.
Royal Challengers Bangalore x Tottenham Hotspurs

Another basic one. They both don’t win anything. They have the size, but their owner is not very smart and they don’t invest properly. They have the star talent, but lack the spine of a champion team.
Chennai Super Kings- Manchester United
Nobody likes this team because of how successful they were. 2 master tacticians- Dhoni and SAF took average squads and made them champions. Man Utd went through a big decline as SAF retired- the same might be on the cards as Dhoni leaves.
