I’m tired of reading Christians say, “But by the grace of God, I could be like Ravi Zacharias.” No. You. Could. Not. You’re not that socially savvy. You’re not that smart. Stop sin leveling. Stop imagining you’re intimidating. And stop pretending you’re humble. It’s annoying.

In order to do what Ravi did, he either had to be a narcissist or a psychopath. You don’t get that way overnight. This was his lifelong ambition. He lived a double life, and was so good at lying, his own wife was duped. And you? You have an anonymous Twitter account.

You may think you’re some kind of badass sinner, and I’m sure you have issues, but TBH, I don’t think you understand what evil is, or you’d never claim to own that darkness. When you say, “But by the grace of God go I,” it makes me want to either laugh or hide my kids from you.

Do you have any idea the amount of apathy, cruelty, dehumanization, hate, cynicism, deceit, and malice it takes to sexually abuse God knows how many women, all while claiming to be like Jesus? Do you understand the darkness that was active there?

That’s the unpardonable sin. That’s giving the middle finger to the Holy Spirit, over and over and over again. That’s knowing the truth of God yet actively working to destroy the souls of his children. That’s the spirit of the Antichrist.

And you? You cuss when you stub your toe, you “borrow” your coworker’s coffee creamer, you don’t leave a note when you ding someone’s car with a grocery cart, and you think you have the capacity to be a psychopathic serial predator? Please!

But by the grace of God ... maybe you’d be a telemarketer? IDK.

But I’m not a table leg that got in your way. I’m not coffee creamer you used without asking. I’m not someone’s car door for you dinged with a grocery cart. I’m your sister in Christ, made in the image of God, who an abuser tried to spiritually and psychologically destroy.

So, stop comparing your stupid little sins with what happened to these women, or to any abuse victim. When you minimize the evil of abuse, you minimize the value and pain of your brothers and sisters in Christ. I’m sure you’re a sinner. Just please stop being such a tactless one.
