I need to say this in the wake of this @ProjectLincoln disaster. Gay is often mischaracterized.

Being gay has absolutely nothing to do with being a pedophile.

A pedophile is sexually attracted to children.

As a survivor, I’d appreciate that we get our terminologies in tow.

John Weaver’s behavior is abhorrent and I’m sincerely disturbed by the allegations. My sympathies go out to his victims.

I’m not sure how I feel about Steve Schmidt’s resignation letter. I believe his childhood accounts. There are far too many children with similar stories.

I have thoroughly appreciated his work and allyship in the unseating of Trump and his minions in Georgia.

I have felt like his anger was becoming toxic level high, especially in the handling of the Jennifer Horn matter. It was vitriolic. It felt sexist.

I recently mentioned to a friend and journalist at MSNBC that while I really like Steve- I was beginning to worry about his approach on matters.

This was a week before all of this blew open.

I want to see Steve return. But his stepping aside now is the right thing to do.

The leadership at @ProjectLincoln needs not only women, but also minorities in consulting and board roles going forward & far more financial accountability.

I truly hope leaders didn’t turn a blind eye to Weaver’s misconduct.

A truly unfortunate turn of the last few events.
