This is something I've always wanted to do, but never had an outlet until now.
PRESENTING: Makeup recommendations for autistic people and people with sensory sensitivities!

I absolutely LOVE makeup. But, being autistic, some of it can feel like hell on my skin - heavy, goopy, cakey. And I seem to have a higher tolerance for the feeling than some.
Over time, I've found products that have worked for me. And I'd love to share them with you!

I'm someone that likes to invest good money in their beauty products, but I'll try to provide a variety of price points.
LIQUID FOUNDATION: The Ordinary foundations - I like their Serum Foundation for everyday wear, and their Coverage Foundation for special occasions.
Both have great coverage (Serum is lighter), but feel very light and comfortable on the skin. They have great staying power, too.

The best part? They're under US$7 a bottle!
I trust The Ordinary with much of my skincare, and was very excited when they came out with foundation.

POWDER FOUNDATION: @fentybeauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Powder Foundation.
Most powder foundations are very heavy and cakey on me. But this one is a soft, light powder with lots of pigmentation. It even does a decent job with covering my dark circles (I use an eyeshadow brush).

SETTING POWDER: @glossier Wowder. Another nice, light powder.
PRIMER: @wetnwildbeauty Primer Spray. I personally like to mix it with Fenty Beauty's Pro Filt'r primers, but it works nicely on its own. I also like to wet my foundation brush with it.
EYESHADOW - TIE: Love of Color and @elfcosmetics eyeshadow sticks. Both have great pigmentation AND staying power, so you can skip eye primer.
BLUSH: Glossier Cloud Paint. A little bit goes a long way with this pigmented liquid-cream. Takes a little practice, but leaves a comfortable tint on the cheeks.
LIP TINT: @ColourPopCo Just A Tint lip tints. These lip pencils have a light slickness and, surprisingly, good color payoff.
LIP GLOSS: @marcjacobs Enamored lip gloss. This is the first shimmery gloss I've ever tried where I didn't feel chunks of glitter. It's so comfortable on my lip, I actually enjoy reapplying it.
