The weather station is reading 25 degrees right now.
The silence is deafening right now.
Everything that was exposed is coated in ice.
It's become so brittle the individual blades snap and shatter as I walk over them.
Even the evergreens have partially frozen.
Ice caked to each pine needle.
Even the spider webs have been frozen.
Each strand of webbing covered with ice crystals.
The lichen, freezing solid in the oak trees and becoming brittle, has been breaking off and falling all over.
