How about a trial of walk-in vasectomies first? https://twitter.com/guardiannews/status/1360369240189132801
If you look online the side effects of the pill are - 'reduced libido, spotting, nausea, breast tenderness'
No mention of increased risk of blood clots, severe mental health problems, cervical and breast cancer, heart attacks and strokes.
Are you aware that the most effective and least contra-indicated form of contraceptive is vasectomy?
Are you also aware that the rates (latest I can find 2016) of vasectomy in men in the UK (can only find UK rated not Ireland) are falling?

If you are on the pill and having bad side effects or thinking of taking the pill you should speak to your partner about their options. The pill/coil/implant etc is not the only option. You should NOT have to put your body through that to avoid conception.
Almost all vasectomies are reversible. They should be easy to access and free.
Vasectomies are also one of the CHEAPEST and most ECOLOGICALLY FRIENDLY forms of contraceptive.
My apologies for the shouting, but I'm very very fed up.
Women's healthcare is an absolute mess of discrimination and abuse, if we could sort this one small section of it we would be making a start.
Perhaps GPs would stop prescribing the pill as a solution to anything vaguely endocrinal in women's bodies and actually address specific complaints and problems.
Perhaps men would stop contesting (or just not paying) child maintenance payments if they had to reverse a vasectomy in order to have a child.
Abortion rates would drop if this one safe and effective contraceptive was more popular.
With high uptake, accidental conception rates would drop due to the efficacy of the method, meaning that pregnancies would be in most cases planned and prepared for before the reversal of the procedure.
