#Patriots Draft Target Thread: QB #5 Trey Lance (NDSU) 6’4” 225lbs.
• Natural playmaker with really good athleticism and a great arm.
• Played in a variety of formations and called the protections for all of them.
• Extremely young player with the opportunity to become a star.
Lance is a really good playmaker who can keep drives going. He’s not going to scramble for 10-15 seconds and just heave it, he takes what he’s given. Not something you’ll usually see from a 19 year old.
You won’t find a better runner at the QB position than Lance. He’s got enough to athleticism to go around the defender but most of the time he’ll just go through them.
If you can make this throw, you can probably make any throw. The potential is limitless.
If the #Patriots are ever going to swing for the fences at the QB position, this is the time. #TreyLanceSZN has officially begun.
