If you are as excited as I am about NASA landing a rover on Mars in just a few days, then get ready because there are so many fun ways to get involved with the Mars 2020 activities! I've compiled a list of the ways you can participate with NASA.

#CountdownToMars

THREAD
The Mars 2020 page on NASA's website is your go-to place for all Mars content. You can learn all about the history of Mars missions, the instruments on board the rover and the science that it will be doing. https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/
Millions of people signed up to have their names etched onto three small silicon chips on the rover and sent to Mars. If you're one of them, don't forget to download your boarding pass. If not, you can sign up to be included on the next Mars mission!

Wishing you could take a trip to the Red Planet yourself? While NASA is only sending robots to Mars for now, you can use their photo booth to take your own picture on Mars!

Did you know that Perseverance will be the first rover to have microphones onboard? With it, we will be able to hear the first ever sounds recorded on another planet! If you want to hear how other things may sound on Mars, check out this feature! https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/participate/sounds/
Of course, this historic mission would not be possible without the hard work of a whole team of people. You can meet a few of the faces behind the rover here! https://mars.nasa.gov/people/?category=mars2020
And if you are wishing that you could drive the rover yourself, then you are in luck! NASA even has a game where you can "drive" the rover and explore the Martian surface.

All of the above resources are a fun way to get excited and learn more about Mars 2020 before it lands. But the excitement doesn't stop there! NASA has plenty of ways that you can get involved on landing day as well!
You can register for free here to virtually join NASA on landing day. You'll receive a landing stamp for our virtual passport along with updates from NASA about ways to participate and potential schedule changes. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nasas-perseverance-rover-mars-landing-registration-137598182869
Another way to get involved is by joining space enthusiasts from around the world for this virtual NASA Social on Facebook. You can use it to ask questions, watch live events and get your own virtual @NASASocial badge!

NASA will also be offering a live broadcast on the day of the landing starting at 2:15 p.m. EST/11:15 a.m. PST. You can watch it live on YouTube and most other social media platforms.

The rover is scheduled to land at 3:30 p.m.EST. https://www.youtube.com/nasa
As landing day approaches faster than Perseverance entering the Martian atmosphere (12,100 mph or 19,500 km/h), be sure to keep an eye out for more ways to participate in the #CountdownToMars !
