Now that J.J. Watt is a free agent, what does he still have to offer?

He's taken a step back, but still very good.

Watt has played mostly on the edge since 2014, but his new team may want him pass rushing from the interior

Last two years, PFF pass-rush grade:
Defensive Interior: 90.1 (4th, 212 rushes)
EDGE: 78.1 (25th, 757 rushes)

Watt can dominate inside

However, you don't necessarily want Watt as an every-down run defender on the interior.

Run defense grade last two years:
Defensive Interior: 57.0
Edge: 85.2

So Watt's best bet may be early downs on the edge and then rushing from the interior
