I read your article. The post (below) that has been labeled anti-semitic is very problematic, even if you don't construe it as anti-semitic because it is trying to flip the truth. The insurrectionists & many Trump supporters clearly have a visceral hatred for democrats, & act > https://twitter.com/jonathanchait/status/1360240569168121863
with violence as happened at the Capitol or in Kenosha or in Charlottesville.

Her repeating the commonly held believe of voter fraud is problematic because it is directly attacking the integrity of our elections, and was the big lie undergirding the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Her RTs about BLM repeat some Babylon Bee "satirical" tweets which blur the line between reality and fiction about the protests without clearly being satire, so much so that Snopes took a look at their work.
Her repost of an anti-mask meme perpetuates the anti-science, anti-public health "commonly held beliefs" of many GOP that masks violate freedom & do not work when the evidence suggests quite the contrary.
So put it all together, her "commonly held beliefs" are reflective of an increasingly white-majoritarian, anti-science political party that does not reflect the diverse views most companies hold or wish to portray to their customers, Disney being no exception.
What I can agree with is that she is not more, and probably less egregious in this regard than Jon Voight or James Woods or Scott Baio, but if I were Disney or her management, I would have no problem releasing her.
And I would also ask: when "commonly held beliefs" are squarely in the fringe of demonstrably harmful anti-science, conspiracy theory driven, white supremacist culture, should we accept those among prominent public figures?
We are stuck with politicians that live in comfortably red districts, but the harm by allowing that fringe culture to condense into mainstream belief is FACTUALLY harmful to a reasonable society, with the anti-mask culture & Jan. 6 insurrection offering proof.
IMHO, the distance between Carano's social media posts and that fringe is negligible.
